The Bureau of Accounting is responsible for the following accounting functions: property tax bills and collections; tax sales; cash management; collection of all County receipts; payment of all County obligations; payroll for County employees on a bi-weekly basis; grant and enterprise accounting; billing and collection for water and sewer services; working with external auditors during annual audit; and preparation of the comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
