The Code of Public Local Laws and Ordinances of Carroll County is a compilation of all local laws and ordinances in effect in Carroll County. The Code of Public Local Laws contains 14 titles passed by the Maryland General Assembly. Other laws in effect in Carroll County may be found in the Annotated Code of Maryland, specifically Article 25 which applies to Commissioner counties. The Code is periodically supplemented as local laws are enacted or amended and as ordinances are adopted or amended. The 2004 Edition of the Code may be purchased from the Department of the County Attorney for $60.00. Future supplements will be available for purchase from The County Attorney.
