Eric Bouchat is in his first term as County Commissioner. He is currently President of Bouchat Industries, Inc., established
in 1994, providing metal fabrication services for military, industrial and public utility markets. He attended St. Augustine
Catholic School, Howard High School, Howard County Vocational Center for welding, Catonsville Community College in Business
Administration and University of Maryland Baltimore County for Political Science. Mr. Bouchat has volunteered in many
capacities, including: past Chairman of the American Welding Society-Maryland Section, political activist since 1992,
candidate for federal, state and local offices. He also served as Republican Central Committee Vice-Chairman and Financial
Director for Baltimore County during Governor Ehrlich's administration. He is an active financial supporter of many regional
and local charities.
Mr. Bouchat has two daughters (one deceased), three grandchildren and lives in Woodbine.
District 4 includes the southwestern portion of Carroll County. It includes the towns of Union Bridge, New Windsor, and Mount Airy.
