Carroll County Government's GIS Division develops and maintains spatial information to aid in the creation of maps and data analysis to support County agencies and their customers.
Maps on the Web has been created to provide citizens with access to map information about Carroll County. These maps have been grouped into three categories: viewable, interactive, and aerial photo images.
The viewable maps are too large to reproduce as small images, so they are being offered as downloadable PDF's which can be viewed and printed using the free Adobe Reader® plugin for your web browser.
A PDF Help page has been created to assist users with viewing and printing these maps.
The interactive maps can display many types of information chosen by the citizen, including parcels, roads, streams, and zoning districts. Also, by clicking on these maps, users can view and print stored information about a particular location.
A Help page is available to assist users with viewing and printing these maps, and performing and printing inquiries. It may be beneficial to print the Help page before accessing any of the interactive maps.
The aerial photo images are accessible to visitors for viewing and/or downloading using free downloadable software. Instructions to assist users with downloading and using the image viewer software are also provided.
