Carroll County is undertaking an evaluation of the future recycling and solid waste disposal methods for the County. Numerous presentations, studies and reports have been provided to the Board of County Commissioners, Department of Public Works and the Environmental Advisory Council. Additionally the Frederick County Commissioners have extended an invitation to Carroll County to partner with them on a shared waste-to-energy facility. Copies of these presentations and videos of relevant meetings can be found on this web site to keep residents informed of the issue.
