purchased at this location Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Cash, check, MasterCard & Visa are accepted.

Natural, educational and recreational opportunities abound at Piney Run Park, Carroll County Maryland's oldest developed
park. The park was opened in 1974, featuring a 300 acre lake as its centerpiece and provides multiple recreational activities
such as fishing, boating, boat rentals and park sponsored fishing tournaments. The lake is surrounded by 550 acres of fields,
forest and open spaces which contain over 5 miles of hiking trails, as well as tennis courts, playgrounds, climbing rock,
picnic tables and comfort stations.
Directions to Piney Run Park
From Baltimore:
From 695 (Baltimore Beltway) take Route I-70 West (exit 17). Take Route 32 North to the intersection of Rt. 32 and Liberty Rd.
(Rt. 26). Make a left on Liberty Rd. Go approx. 3 miles and turn left onto White Rock Rd. Go 1.8 miles and turn left onto Martz
Rd. Martz Rd. will bring you to the Park gate.
From Westminster:
Take Route 97 South to Eldersburg. Take ramp onto Liberty Road (Rt. 26). Turn right off of the ramp road and go 1.5 miles to
White Rock Rd. Turn right onto White Rock and go 1.8 miles and turn left onto Martz Rd. Martz Rd. will bring you to the Park gate.
Piney Run Park 2011 Season is from April 1 to October 31. The park is open from 7 a.m. until sunset. During the season Piney Run
Park Nature Center is open Wed-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon – 5 p.m.

Piney Run Park
Please note you must select the pass that reflects the recipient's residency. The gift certificate you are
purchasing is a voucher that will need to be presented to the attendant at the Gatehouse on or after April 1, 2011 for the season pass.
At the time the gift certificate is presented proof of residency will be required. When the gift recipient arrives to redeem the gift
certificate for their season pass Piney Run Park staff will need to affix the pass to either their front bumper, driver’s side
windshield or on the door jam of the driver's door.

The Hap Baker Firearms Facility is designed and built to meet National Rifle Association range specifications. Ranges available at
the Facility include 25, 50, 100, and 200 yards. Pistol range – 5 to 17 yards.
Directions to Facility
The Hap Baker Firearms Facility is located off Route 140 just north of Reese Road. From the Baltimore Beltway (Route 695) take Route
795 (Northwest Expressway) to Route 140 North toward Westminster. Use the entrance to Carroll County’s Northern Landfill and follow
the signs to the facility.
Hours of Operation
January 1-March 31, Friday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to one hour prior to sunset
April 1-December 31, Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to one hour prior to sunset
Open on Thanksgiving Day
Closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day
ALWAYS closed on Monday and Tuesday
Individual user time is limited during peak hours. The range will be supervised at all times.

Hap baker Firearms Facility
Please note you must select the pass that reflects the recipient's residency. The gift certificate you are purchasing is a voucher
that will need to be presented to the attendant at the Firearms Facility. At the time the gift certificate is presented proof of
residency will be required. When the gift recipient arrives to redeem the gift certificate for their daily fee, season pass or life
membership Hap Baker Firearms staff will issue the recipient a facility identification badge that needs to be worn at all times when
using the range.
