Adjoining the pool is the Hashawha Sports Recreation Area that includes a basketball court, volleyball area, baseball/softball diamond, and a "tot-lot".

Lake Hashawha is a two acre impoundment design for mulitple use recreation. Fishing is permitted on the lake, but only with artificial lures and all fish must be returned unharmed to the water. Also provided at the lake area is a pavilion, a floating dock, and a wildlife area. Lake Hashawha is open daily from dawn until dusk.
