Boating
Canoes, sailboats, rowboats, kayaks and electric powered fishing boats may be used on the lake during the Park
season. Private boats may be launched March 1st thru November 30th. The Lake is closed to Boating December 1st
thru February 28th each year. Two boat ramps are located at the main entrance and a daily boat launch fee of
$8.00 per boat or a season pass may be purchased for $50.00 per boat. Launch fees apply to all boats including
canoes, kayaks, sailboats, etc.

Boathouse Hours of Operation:
- -Monday thru Friday: CLOSED
- -Saturday & Sunday: 7 am until 1 hour prior to park closing

The Boat House offers canoes, kayaks and row boats for rent to park patrons at a fee of
$10.00 per hour or $35.00 per day. Pedal boats are also available for rent at a fee of
$10.00 per half hour.
To rent a boat, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Leave a driver's license
- Provide a $20 deposit per boat
- Read & sign PRP boat rental agreement
Important Information:
- No child under the age of 4 is allowed in PRP rental boats
- Someone age 16 or over must be in rental boat
- All occupants MUST have a Personal Flotation Device (provided at the boathouse)
- All occupants ages 12 and under AND those who cannot swim, MUST wear the PFD at all times
