CCPSThe Carroll County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with Carroll County Public Schools is concerned about the safety of our children on the internet. If you feel that your child is or has been the victim of an internet predator, please contact the Carroll County Sheriff's Office or your local law enforcement agency immediately. By working together we will reduce this growing problem.

        • Your child or teen spends a great deal of time online.
        • You find pornography on the family computer.
        • Your child or teen receives phone calls from people you don't know or makes calls to numbers you don't recognize.
        • Your child or teen withdraws from family and friends or quickly turns the computer monitor off or changes the screen if an adult enters the room.
        • Your child or teen is using someone else's online account.

If your child receives sexually explicit images from an online correspondent or if he or she is solicited sexually, contact the Carroll County Sheriff's Office or your local law enforcement agency. You can also report to or by calling
