Support Services Division
The Support Services Division works to provide the best training opportunities possible to all Deputies from entry level training to in-service training and specialty training. Law Enforcement is unique from many other industries because a Deputy’s career is a continuing learning process. This Division is responsible for making sure every Deputy is aware of new and updated laws, is certified with their firearm and other equipment, and training funds are used in the best interest of the agency and for the growth of the Deputies.
Included in the Support Services Division is the Auxiliary Patrol Program. This program consists of up to 12 dedicated volunteers that have been specially trained to help the Deputies with various duties. Auxiliary Officers are also uniformed and participate in Patrol activities, handle traffic management at special events and traffic accidents, distribute crime prevention information, work with the schools for the Eddie Eagle firearm program, and help with administrative tasks at headquarters.
