The Carroll County State's Attorney's Office, in conjunction with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and the Eddie Eagle Mascot, promotes and presents the Eddie Eagle Gun Safety program in all 21 elementary schools in Carroll County.

This very important message has reached over 4,200 second grade students in Carroll County in the year 2005. Carroll County, being a rural county with a lot of sportsman and hunters in the community, values the Eddie Eagle Gun Safety Program. The program gives children a simple, effective action to take should they encounter a firearm in an unspervised situation.
