Investigation Unit

This Unit consists of highly trained retired police officers from the Maryland State Police and local County Police agencies. Investigators are assigned to specialized units and general investigations within the State's Attorneys Office.

Investigators from the State's Attorneys Office work very closely with law enforcement agencies Carroll county and other government agencies. They assist in interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence in criminal cases that will be presented to attorneys with the State's Attorneys Office for prosecution.
